Session 7: Animation Pass #3









This is the revision that includes the fixes on the comments from Mark Pullyblank and Fernanda Veloso. Again, a frame by frame revision (you should see the Maya timeline) This is what Bret Parker mentions on the electronic critiques.

One thing that is really hard is how to settle down the character, how to solve it in a way that feels right, without using too many up and downs.

Good stuff Mario, you can really tell you're going frame by frame. I think I'll try and do that alot more!

The animation here looks good, but what's not convincing me is the fact that he's standing on a bent leg the whole time.

When he starts it works because he's anticipating by bouncing abit before jumping, but when he settles at the end, I think it would work better if his leg was straight.

Also, I think his leg should be straight on frame 58 as well.

What do you think? :)
